When you run to people, you may receive temporary comfort. But when you run to God, you receive lasting peace. Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. If you desire true peace, you must allow the Holy Spirit to lead you. Don’t depend on human understanding. Be led by the Spirit — and you will walk in supernatural peace. Hallelujah!

God has established divine systems for our growth. He does not want us to return to our old sinful life. He wants us to excel in the gifting and calling He has placed upon us. Many people fall back into sin not because they are weak, but because they are not operating in their calling. When you stop functioning in your purpose, you create a spiritual vacuum. And that vacuum becomes an open door for the enemy. If you do not walk in your gifting, there is a danger of returning to what God already delivered you from. Stay aligned. Stay active in your calling. Depend on God daily. Because when you neglect your purpose, you open doors which can destroy you and your calling.
